Debi Grebenik trains internationally and is known for her expertise in healing child trauma. She also trains on Vicarious Trauma within child welfare and judicial systems as well as for first responders and medical professionals. She is known for her engaging and enthusiastic presentations on healing for children, youth, families, teams, and systems.

Debi is the Chief Knowledge Officer of Alia, a new nonprofit organization focused on innovations for people and systems impacted by childhood trauma. Previous to Alia, Debi served as the Executive Director of Maple Star Colorado, a child welfare agency providing foster care, domestic violence advocacy, human trafficking services, clinical services, autism supports, placement prevention, and other innovative programming.

Two (2) CEUs per session will be offered to participants


The purpose of our annual ATNNI training series is to collaborate with experts in the national anti-trafficking movement in order to build the collective capacity of our local communities to support persons who have experienced, or are experiencing, human trafficking. Each week will build upon previous sessions, allowing participants the opportunity to learn, process and engage in practical skills. All three sessions will be survivor informed & our final session will be survivor led.

February 8th: Katrina Mallory


Katrina Mallory, Psy.D., HSPP is a Clinical Psychologist and Program Director of TRU Harbor, a program of the Youth Opportunity Center that serves adolescent female survivors of human trafficking. Dr. Mallory has experience working in residential treatment settings, specifically in completing psychological evaluations and providing therapeutic services for youth identified as commercially sexually exploited children (CSEC) and others coping with complex trauma. As a member of several anti-trafficking committees and taskforces, Dr. Mallory completes trainings across the state of Indiana to educate youth workers, law enforcement, and community members on sex trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation.

February 15th: K.D. Roche


K.D. Roche is a field expert on the subject of human trafficking and has been providing recommendations and input to inform research, policies, and programs that work to combat trafficking and provide services to survivors since 2014. They have trained law enforcement, health care professionals, social workers and government organizations. They are a training and technical assistance consultant for the Office for Victims of Crime, a fellow of the Human Trafficking Leadership Academy, and a member of the National Survivor Network.
